BioI live in SF, wander about in general, and post very infrequently. I try to keep this up so my MSP friends can see what's the what, but I get distracted.
I like to drink, I like to run, I like to go to live music, and I like live theater.
Also? I don't suffer fools gladly.
Original Purpose (2004):
I created this journal in response to defaming statements about me elsewhere on the Net. I would just like to say this about that situation:
I'm also going to use this journal as a way to blog about the public happenings of theater in general and FFPT in specific. Don't expect any dirt or scathing commentary, though. I'm not a complete fool, and I'd like to keep (or attempt to restore) my good name in the community.

Original Purpose (2004):
I created this journal in response to defaming statements about me elsewhere on the Net. I would just like to say this about that situation:
- The post by me that is under question was made in response to what I perceived as commiseration about the overwhelming whiteness of Minnesota. Nothing more, nothing less.
- I am dismayed and ashamed that said post could have been interpreted in a racist light. That was never my intent.
- I did contact the author of the defamation after I read about her offense at my post. This was quite a few months later, as she had stepped away from the message board where we first interacted, unbeknownst to me. I apologized and tried to explain, and I did ask her to take it down, as it shows up on a Google search. I received no response.
- I have contacted the author of the most recent article, asking him to remove my name and any reference to "The Tribe Of Zach". I will update as soon as I receive a response.
- I feel that I am being used as a flogging post for a pet issue. Instead of trying to open up a public dialogue that might be beneficial to all involved, she chose to excoriate me in her blog and in an article designed to "Google-bomb" certain words and tags.
