Pardon my southern accent.
Yeah. Palin's accent is an extreme example of a city Alaskan accent. It's city because it's more with the Midwest flatness, less with the Native lilt. The accents I grew up around (and with) were a weird hybrid of Western Canadian, Midwestern, Texan/Oklahoman, and Native.

Sigh. I really don't like this woman.

Hi there,

I ran across your blog just wandering around the internet. Interesting, I took the advice of a g/f and rented a house she picked out. This was out of state for me, Florida. I have stayed there and I am returning in Oct. I have had it with the midwest winters after last year and the old bones don't really like the winters anymore. Well, the house is on a very busy street and I have two little 4 legged furry friends. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I have lived on a dead end street for 18 years. I thought my friend knew my taste and wants. Glad yours turned out better than mine.

I love the theatre and we have a lovely one in my area. Starlight theatre at the Rock Valley College. The long time director puts on quite the productions. It's an open air theatre and only have shows in the summer months.

I hope you find your path in life. I'm on a new journey at the age of 59 so never to old to reinvent ones self. I should have smartened up and have done it when I was younger. Oh well, I'm on a bright path now with beautiful Gulf sunsets included. lol,lol.
